22-year-old Nelson Burton, Jr. faces Sam Baca in the second of three round robin matches leading up to the title match against tournament leader Dick Weber at the 1965 Thunderbird PBA Open. Unfortunately, this snippet is the only part of this match that is known to exist. But I figured it was worth posting just because of the vintage footage of Burton, seen wearing his Buddy Holly glasses. Boy, did those guys play an entirely different game back then.
